Objective
Redbox turned to Brickfish for a User Generated Content (UGC) campaign that would help increase brand awareness and drive customers and their business to redbox kiosks.
Solution
Brickfish launched a three week Share Your Love campaign asking consumers to hug a redbox kiosk and upload their photo to our platform. Consumers were required to rent a movie and then prompted at the checkout to submit a photo of themselves hugging a kiosk with the chance to win a $5000 home theater package.
Promotion
Tukaiz, a marketing services production company, printed stickers that were individually placed on all redbox kiosks
The Share Your Love campaign was featured on both the Redbox and Brickfish blog, Twitter and Facebook accounts.
Emails were sent to the Brickfish database of 300,000 members as well as Redbox's email database.
